  5. GETTING STARTED:

  7. Make sure the following files are present:
  8.  
  9. PGOLD.EXE - contains the main program
  10. VBRUN200.DLL - required by main program to function properly
  11. FILEMSG.MSG - contains the help file
  12. README.EXE - allows you to view these instructions
  13. FILE_ID.DIZ - for BBS use
  14.  
  15.  
  16. These files MUST all reside within the SAME directory for the program
  17. to operate properly (for example, you might want to copy all the files
  18. into a directory called PGOLD).

  22. RUNNING PIRATE'S GOLD UNDER WINDOWS
  23.  
  24. Follow these four steps to run Pirate's Gold under Windows:
  25.  
  26. 1. Activate the Program Manager 
  27.  
  28. 2. Choose RUN... from the File menu. The Run dialog box appears.
  29.  
  30. 3. Type the full path and filename in the Command Line text box.
  31.    For example:
  32.  
  33.                 C:\PGOLD\PGOLD.EXE 
  34.  
  35. 4. Choose OK
  36.  
  37. That's all there is to running Pirate's Gold (refer to your Windows 
  38. manual if you wish to install the icon associated with this program).
